A Special Message

 For all of you who made a commitment to Jesus Christ at the service in the Czech Republic on Sunday
on October 25th 2009

Your leaders and I are very proud of you. You have started the most wonderful and the most important adventure of your life. When you asked Jesus Christ to come into your life, He did that and gave you forgiveness and a new life. Because you trusted Him and believed that He died on the cross for you He is now your personal Savior. He loves you and wants to lead your life.

Don't depend on your emotions. They are changeable and influenced by many outside factors. Remember that Jesus Christ is not a feeling, He is a person with whom you have started a relationship. The Bible says in First John 5:12, "Whoever has the Son {meaning Jesus} has life and whoever does not have the Son does not have life.' You have asked God's Son Jesus to come into your life and be your Lord and Savior and He has answered that prayer for you.

You now need to plan a few minutes every day with God. Pray to Him. Remember that prayer is just talking with God. You should thank Him for blessings, praise and worship Him as God, and ask Him for what you need. Remember also to be quiet for a short time and listen to God. You will understand Him better the more you do this.

Read your Bible everyday. It is your spiritual food. Start with the book of John then read Psalms and Proverbs. When you finish you can then read the rest of the Bible although I reccommend that you read the books of the New Testament first.

Try to find a good church that teaches the Bible, that tells about Jesus and that can help you grow spirtually. If you know someone who Has a real and open relationship with Jesus Christ, ask them to pray for you.

Growth is a process. Let God lead you and help you to follow Him. He is always there for you.
